I was thrilled to find that the fit, feel, and quality lived up to the hype — the clothes are soft, versatile, and thoughtfully designed to move with you, whether you’re working out or lounging at home.

I’ve been eyeing Vuori’s activewear for a while now. As someone who values both comfort and style, I’d seen their buttery-soft fabrics pop up on my social feeds time and time again. But, like most of us, I’m careful about splurging on clothes, especially items with a triple-digit price tag. Activewear is a category I tend to keep practical, buying pieces that I can wear daily without breaking the bank. But when I had the chance to try Vuori, I figured it was the perfect time to treat myself to something that aligned with my love for both high-performance and sustainable fashion.

After wearing their pieces for a few weeks, I can confidently say Vuori is much more than just a workout brand. Their clothes are designed to be as versatile as they are stylish, effortlessly blending into both a fitness routine and everyday life. 

Read on for my honest take on whether these premium, ethically crafted clothes are worth the investment.

After hearing lots of buzz about Vuori’s sustainable and high-performance activewear, I was excited to finally try a few pieces. Vuori definitely lived up to the hype.

What is Vuori, and where is the clothing made?

Vuori is a California-born activewear brand that perfectly captures the laid-back, go-with-the-flow vibe of the West Coast. Their clothing is all about versatility — think buttery soft fabrics that work just as well for a sweaty workout as they do for running errands or lounging on the couch. With a focus on comfort and durability, Vuori uses innovative materials like moisture-wicking DreamKnit™ to create pieces that feel as good as they look. Plus, they prioritize sustainability, incorporating recycled materials and aiming to reduce their overall environmental impact.

Most of Vuori’s clothing is made overseas, primarily in Southeast Asia. They’ve partnered with factories that prioritize ethical labor practices and align with their commitment to sustainability. Their Vendor Code of Conduct aligns with International Labor Organization (ILO) guidelines, covering essentials like fair wages, safe working conditions, and anti-discrimination policies. Importantly, this code also applies to subcontractors, ensuring responsibility throughout their supply chain. Regular monitoring and a focus on continual improvement back up these commitments. 

Vuori also leans heavily into sustainability, making efforts to reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining transparency about materials and manufacturing. They prioritize recycled and low-carbon fibers in their designs and are Climate Neutral-certified, meaning they actively offset their environmental impact.

Why is Vuori so expensive? 

Okay, but the real question: Why is the brand so expensive? 

It’s no secret that Vuori is known for steep price tags, but this is rooted in the brand’s commitment to quality and purpose-driven production. Vuori’s pieces are made with premium performance fabrics like DreamKnit™ and VCycled™, blending recycled materials with comfort and durability. Some of these fabrics offer a custom four-way stretch fabric with features like anti-odor, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying properties. Vuori also uses organic cotton (a favorite for our editors when it comes to workout apparel). 

At its core, Vuori is also about investing in fewer, better things, similar to other brands we love, like Patagonia and Outerknown. The clothes are built to last, reducing the cycle of cheap, disposable fashion. While the upfront cost might feel steep, it’s easier to see the value when you think about their versatility, longevity, and thoughtful design.

Finally, Vuori also offers a generous return policy known as their “Investment in Happiness.” If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 120 days from the date of purchase to return your items for a full refund (with some stipulations on condition and wear, of course). 

I experienced this firsthand when I returned a pair of joggers that I had been gifted. The style wasn’t exactly what I expected, but I didn’t have a receipt, only the original tags. I went into the store and was able to exchange the joggers for a different style, no questions asked. It was a seamless and enjoyable process, making it that much easier to be swayed towards becoming a local Vuori customer.

Villa Cargo Joggers | $118

When I say I’ve barely taken these joggers off since they arrived, I’m not exaggerating. These are the ultimate all-around pants — comfortable, versatile, and perfect for just about anything. Whether I’m lounging at home, running errands, traveling, or even squeezing in a quick nap, these joggers have quickly become my go-to. The material is lightweight, naturally wrinkle-free, and moisture-wicking, making them an ideal travel companion, especially on longer trips.

Yes, the price is a little higher than your average joggers, but I honestly feel like I’ve already gotten my money’s worth from how often I wear them. The added cargo pockets give them a stylish edge, so I can easily dress them up with a sweater or casual top. They’re by far my favorite pair from Vuori, and I’m already tempted to grab another in the suede color. For reference, I sized up to get a more relaxed, baggy fit (I typically wear a small in joggers), and at 5’3”, they hit just right on my ankles—no bunching, no awkward length. Truly, these joggers are the ultimate blend of style, comfort, and practicality.

These cargo joggers are so comfortable. They are thin and breezy and I love that they have tapered legs and pockets for added style!

ACTV Club Dad Hat | $32

If there’s one thing I love, it’s a good baseball cap. Living in LA, they’re basically a wardrobe staple — you can throw one on with just about anything and still look effortlessly put together. Plus, let’s be honest, they’re a lifesaver for no-wash hair days. Vuori’s caps are exactly what I look for in a great dad hat: They fit perfectly, strike the right balance between casual and polished, and come in a clean, minimal design that’s easy to style.

For a premium brand like Vuori, the price is surprisingly reasonable — especially compared to brands like Patagonia or Lululemon. And with multiple colors to choose from, there’s something for everyone. As a self-proclaimed neutral lover, I went with the white and black options, and they have quickly become my go-to for everything from hikes to quick errands.

Boyfriend Jogger | $98

With over 3,000 glowing reviews, these pants are another Vuori bestseller I couldn’t wait to try — especially because they’re made with the ultra-soft brushed jersey DreamKnit™ fabric. Designed with two handy side pockets, a mid-rise elastic waist, and a perfectly relaxed sweatpant fit, they seemed like the kind of pants you’d never want to take off. I went with the Sangria Heather color (left), a rich, deep brown that feels elevated but still cozy, as well as the Black (right). The moment I put them on, I was smitten — the fabric is so soft, it’s almost therapeutic.

While I don’t reach for these as often as the Villa Cargo Joggers, they’re a close second. These pants have a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for lounging at home or running casual errands, and they still manage to look polished enough to feel put together. That said, of all the pieces I tried, this is the one I might hesitate to spend $98 on again. They’re lovely and well-made, but they feel more like a “treat yourself” item rather than an everyday essential. Still, I wear them often, and there’s no denying they’re a cozy addition to my wardrobe.

AllTheFeels Leggings | $98

I’m pretty particular about leggings — especially when they’re for workouts. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect when trying Vuori’s AllTheFeels leggings. I’d heard all the buzz, but how much better could one pair of leggings be than the others I’ve tried? Spoiler alert: They absolutely live up to the hype.

First off, the fabric is incredible. It’s buttery soft with just the right amount of stretch, moving with you and never against you. The material is lightweight but fully opaque (a must for squats or downward dogs), so there’s zero need to second-guess your coverage. The high-rise fit is everything I want in leggings — supportive, flattering, and stays in place through every movement. Plus, the color options are beautiful, and the small fits true to size. Honestly, these are my new gold standard. No other notes. 11/10.

Sunday Performance Joggers | $98

And, of course, we couldn’t leave out the bestselling and famous Performance Joggers — yes, the ones with over 44k five-star reviews. Let’s just say they’ve been on heavy rotation since receiving them! These joggers are touted as a modern take on athleisure, blending premium fit, functionality, and an unbelievably soft stretch fabric. The four-way stretch and tapered legs with elastic cuffs mean no awkward bunching, which I really appreciate. So far, I’ve worn them for running, lounging, and lifting and they perform perfectly for all of the above. Safe to say, I’ll probably be adding another pair to his collection soon!

These have been on heavy rotation! I’d likely size up for a more relaxed fit, but the fabric is so soft and cozy that I don’t mind that they are a bit more fitted.

For me, the Villa Cargo Joggers and AllTheFeels leggings were standout favorites, combining performance with style in a way that felt effortless. Whether you’re new to Vuori or a longtime fan, their focus on comfort, sustainability, and elevated everyday basics is sure to make their pieces a staple in your rotation.
